What we do

Toru Mashiba founded JUNKBRANDING in 2014 after working as a cutter in bespoke menswear. At the Kuramae atelier, jackets from closed tailoring shops are taken apart, traced and recut. The original cloth and construction guide the next garment.

Collections range from 18 to 24 looks, with up to 60 pieces per design. Each inside label records the original tailor, the year of manufacture and the edition number.
